Little Hands Creations has been pivoting and adapting since schools closed in 2020 and we are committed to providing the safest possible environment for our students and staff.
All indoor, in-person classes will be limited to one group of 6 students per class. Health screenings and temperature checks will be conducted at the top of each class. If a child does not pass the health screening or they start exhibiting symptoms, their grown up will be called for pick up and the other families will be notified.
Each student will get their own dedicated material kit so that items will not be shared and desks are spaced a minimum of 3 feet apart.
KN95 or equivalent masks are required at all times for students and teachers and all eating and drinking will happen outside the classroom in our breezeway.
For indoor camps, our classroom will be cleaned thoroughly after each class with antibacterial materials. This includes tables, chairs, plexiglass dividers, door knobs and faucets, sewing machines, notions, and much much MUCH more.
Our space has double the windows and doors for an exceptional cross-breeze and they will be open unless weather prohibits. We also have an additional air filtration and separate air purifying unit in the space.
During our outdoor camps, each student will get their own yoga mat to ensure social distancing at the park.
Each family will complete a health screening and medical release prior to camp.
All LHC staff members are fully vaccinated and come Spring 2022, all eligible students will be required to be vaccinated as well.
We will continue to monitor transmission and vaccine rates and, if needed, will transition to online and outdoor camps only.
3/16/22 UPDATE: Although King County has lifted it's mask mandate, LHC is taking a little more time before we stop requiring masks. Please continue to mask up for all classes, including adults at pick-up and drop-off.
