Jul 29-Aug 2: AM Upper Grade Stuffies

Service Description

Grade: incoming 6th grade and up! Is there such a thing as too many stuffed animals?? Never! Whether you want to make one detailed dragon or an army of fluffy frogs, come join us at LHC this summer to make some creative creatures. In this class we will be learning how to work with fuzzy minky fabric, plastic safety eyes, and how to make a 3D shape out of fabric. No experience necessary: new students will learn machine safety and beginner sewing techniques, while more experienced students can expand on skills they already have. After completing a skill-building project, students can select from our existing pattern library and make a stuffie in their choice of materials. Students who want more of a challenge are invited to design the stuffie of their dreams, and then work with an instructor on basic pattern drafting techniques in order to bring it to life! All supplies are included. *For all new sewers, the first class of the camp is mandatory; please contact Chelsea Cook if your child is unable to attend.* This camp takes place in our Roosevelt studio, at 5901 Roosevelt Ave NE, Suite 101B. Cancellation Policy

Student Tuition is refundable as follows: Cancellations received two weeks prior to class start date will receive a full refund. ​ Cancellations received one week prior to class start date will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations received the week of class start date will not receive a refund.
