Mid-Winter Break PM: Hand Sewing

Service Description

Grades: K-5th From simple mending all the way to intricate embroidery, hand sewing is a wonderful way to add detail or do finishing work that a machine can’t always do! We will be learning multiple types of hand sewing techniques, from the basic whip stitch to buttons, to embroidery. This class will build fine motor skills, finger dexterity, and most important, it will give their creative muscles a workout! Students will start with a simple pre-requisite project and then move at their own pace to more exciting and challenging options! Project options, which rotate each session, include puppets, monster keychains, fruit brooches, stuffies, wallets, and more
