Tuesday ONLINE New Machine Sewing

Service Description

Grades: 1st and up! Dates: 1/25, 2/1, 2/8, 2/15, NO 2/22, 3/1, 3/8, 3/15, 3/22, 3/29, 4/5- 10 classes Time: 4:00-5:30 We are so excited to bring our Beginner Sewing curriculum ONLINE! Grab your favorite supervising adult and get ready to learn the fundamentals of machine sewing! New students will learn machine safety and standard sewing techniques like turning corners, making knots, and zig-zag stitches before moving on to our prerequisite project, the Velcro pouch and Tote bag, and beyond! Students will be able to vote on the projects they want to make each week, then we will tackle one project as a group, and work step-by-step together. Projects for this class are our most inclusive and span our entire pattern library including stuffed animals, games, clothing, accessories and bags. This class is a pre-requisite to our other machine sewing classes. All supplies, including a sewing machine, will be available for pick-up from our no-contact pick-up shelf outside our (Seattle) Fremont Studio prior to class, or delivered to your doorstep at an additional fee. Some tools and equipment will need to be returned after the session is complete. For students outside of the Seattle area: we are able to ship supply kits but are not able to provide a sewing machine for the class.

Cancellation Policy

Student Tuition is refundable as follows: Cancellations received two weeks prior to class start date will receive a full refund. ​ Cancellations received one week prior to class start date will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations received the week of class start date will not receive a refund.
