Wednesday Early Release: Hand Sewing

Service Description

Grades K-5! From simple mending all the way to intricate embroidery, hand sewing is a wonderful way to add detail or do finishing work that a machine can’t always do! We will be learning multiple types of hand sewing techniques, from the basic whip stitch, to buttons, to embroidery. This class will build fine motor skills, finger dexterity, and most important, it will give their creative muscles a workout! Students will start with a simple prerequisite project and then move at their own pace to more exciting and challenging options! Project options, which rotate each session, include crowns, footballs, butterflies, felt food, and more! * Covid Policy: LHC has lifted its mask requirement, however masks are still strongly encouraged. All students must be fully vaccinated prior to session start; please be prepared to show vaccine card on or before the first class of the session.*
